Clarrie King is a licensed stonemason and a principal of Premier Stone, where he fabricates and installs natural stone and porcelain benchtops for kitchens across Melbourne’s south-east and the Mornington Peninsula. Alongside co-principal Jim Garrett, he brings decades of combined trade experience to every project, from a single benchtop to a full kitchen.

Experience

Clarrie’s work covers the full benchtop process — selecting and templating slabs on site, fabricating in the Drouin workshop, and installing in clients’ homes. His hands-on background spans granite, marble, quartzite and modern porcelain (sintered stone) surfaces, and the practical realities of edges, joins, cut-outs and on-site fit that decide whether a benchtop looks right and lasts.
